Join us for an Ink filled, "stained if you like"
weekend of all things related to writing instruments!!!
Whether your interests include using a fountain pen for every day use or you are a collector of vintage and modern pens, pencils or ballpoints, this will be an opportunity to meet other pen lovers, collectors and dealers from around the globe. There will be 162 exhibitor tables filled with all types of writing instruments, inks, paper and other accessories from all of your favorite makers.

Richard Binder will be giving his hands-on nib smoothing seminar at the show.
It happens Sunday morning, beginning promptly at 8:30.
This is a two hour workshop.
Attendance for hands-on guidance is limited to 16 registered participants. Registration for the workshop will open promptly at 9:00 Eastern time on TBD, at this page:

PEN REPAIR
Pen repair will be available at the show throughout the weekend by
Ron Zorn, Martin Ferguson &Mike and Linda Kennedy.
There will be pen parts available from these vendors and also many others including the
"King of Parts" Richard Lott
So bring your pens needing parts and those needing repair.
Custom nib grinding will also be available from
Richard Binder, Indy Pen Dance,
andDan Smith.
This is a program sponsored by the
Pen Collectors of America (PCA)
and run byDeborah Basel.
We will briefly discuss the
history of writing implements.
Children will get a chance to try grinding ink on an ink stone with Japanese stick ink.
While they are taking turns grinding ink, testing the ink, and admiring the materials displayed, Basel will write each child’s name in calligraphy.
Brian and Lisa Anderson of Anderson Pensand Basel have donated fountain pens which will be provided to each child.
This will be followed by some note writing and origami crafts.We will also have a door prize drawing – but you have to be there to win!
