and run by TBD
We will briefly discuss the
history of writing implements.
Children will get a chance to try grinding ink on an ink stone with Japanese stick ink.
While they are taking turns grinding ink, testing the ink, and admiring the materials displayed, the instructor will write each child’s name in calligraphy.
This will be followed by some note writing and origami crafts. We will also have a door prize drawing – but you have to be there to win!
Join us for an Ink filled, "stained if you like"
weekend of all things related to writing instruments!!!
Whether your interests include using a fountain pen for every day use or you are a collector of vintage and modern pens, pencils or ballpoints, this will be an opportunity to meet other pen lovers, collectors and dealers from around the globe.
